In the evening, there was a traditional Quebec-style cook-out, featuring live music and meats and vegetables cooked over coals outdoors. During the afternoon there were some technical seminars at the hotel, and the convention banquet was held at the hotel from 19h00 to 22h00. In accordance with Håkan's wishes, this Bernhard Schalbetter Memorial Trophy is awarded each year to the owner who has driven his Montreal the longest distance (excluding any ferry crossings, transporter shipping stages, etc) to participate in the annual European Montreal meeting. The participation was organized by Jimmy Cornet, who brought his Montreal from Montreal, Canada, to the event and received an award for it. One colour chart included the finishes offered for the Montreal and the GT Zagato.

Håkan himself died 25 days after the end of the meeting. The 2017 AROC-USA Convention on 13 - 16 July was combined with that of the Alfa Romeo Club of Canada (ARCC) and based at the Pointe Claire Holiday Inn near Montreal, Canada.
Later Alfa Romeo re-used the name for other body colours such as AR556.
